We provide the information contained on this website to visitors, users or viewers of the website ("you") subject to the terms and conditions set out in these website terms and conditions, the privacy policy and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices which may be applicable to this website.

By placing an order with us via the website you are deemed to be in acceptance of our terms and conditions.

2. Ordering

When an order is placed with us you will receive a confirmation email detailing the order you have placed. Please check this acknowledgement for product details and prices to ensure that you have ordered the correct product(s). 3. Order cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been despatched, please notify us as soon as possible by email on web@fireboxstoves.co.uk. We will issue a full refund no later than 30 days after the cancellation date. We cannot issue refunds for item(s) that have been specially manufactured, or modified to your specific requirements. This includes flexible flue liner which has been cut to length.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as a consumer you have the right to cancel your order before it has been dispatched and up to 14 working days after receipt of the goods.

If you wish to cancel your order within 14 working days after receiving delivery we will issue a full refund (including any delivery costs) no later than 30 days after the cancellation date. Please return any goods with their original packaging and in good condition within 14 days after the cancellation date. Under the Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, a consumer has a duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in their possession and during the return back to us. Please ensure that any products returned are well packed to prevent damage whilst in transit. We cannot accept the return of items that have been fitted, modified or damaged whilst in your care or during return transit to us.

If any products are received damaged/faulty, contact us immediately and we will organise a replacement product and collection of the damaged/faulty item.

If you wish to cancel your order at any time after 14 working days following receipt of the goods, a handling charge of 20% will be applicable.

4. Costs Incurred

We cannot be held liable for any consequential costs incurred by you such as loss of earning due to late delivery or other circumstances out of our control.

6. Delivery

Delivery charges

Orders for stoves with a value of £300 and over - Will be delivered free of charge (UK mainland excluding Northern Ireland)

Orders for flues or other components with a value of £300 and over – Will incur a £30.00 carriage charge (UK mainland excluding Northern Ireland)

Orders with a value of under £300 - Will incur a £6.00 carriage charge (UK mainland excluding Northern Ireland)

Some items are regarded as "over sized" and incur a delivery charge of £12.50 (UK mainland excluding Northern Ireland)

Collection

If you or your installer would prefer to collect your stove from us you are most welcome to. Please notify us if this is the case and advise us which branch you would like to collect your products from. If the product(s) you have ordered are not in stock at the time of ordering we will notify you as soon as they arrive.

Our showroom / warehouse opening times are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Lead Times

We aim to deliver all orders for items held in stock within 3-5 days. Deliveries may be made sooner than this. Upon receipt of your order we will notify you of an expected delivery date. We will notify you of any products out of stock at or directly after the time of ordering, and give you an estimated lead time based on current information supplied by the manufacturer/supplier of the products.

Accepting the delivery

We strongly recommend that you carefully inspect your product(s) before you sign for them.

Although we have carefully selected our couriers based on historical performance, occasionally products will get damaged in transit. This is particularly applicable to orders for twin wall insulated flue pipe. If the product(s) and/or packaging appear in any way damaged please ensure you sign ‘received damaged’ and notify us immediately. If you are unable to check for damage please sign ‘unchecked’.

If you have ordered multiple items (such as a flue system) it is possible that the delivery consignment will consist of more than one parcel. Please ensure you check that the quantity of boxes delivered matches the number sent on the couriers consignment note before signing. If a box or boxes are missing please sign 'item(s) missing' and detail the quantity of boxes missing.

Any resultant claim for damage or non-delivery that we make with the courier will only be considered if signed for as ‘received damaged’ or ‘item(s) missing’, signing otherwise will deem to having received the product(s) fully and in good condition and will negate the possibility of any future claims for damage or short shipments.

If any products are received damaged or faulty please contact us immediately and we will organise a replacement product and collection of the damaged/faulty item.

Please be prepared to receive your delivery. Deliveries are normally made between the hours of 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We or our courier will contact you in advance to inform you of the expected delivery date and if we can, advise an estimated delivery time. For large orders (stoves and flue components) please assume that the goods will be palletised. For insurance reasons the delivery driver will be unable to deliver the goods past your door and will be unable to assist in moving your products inside your property. The vehicle used to deliver your products may be a large heavy goods vehicle particularly if the order is large. Orders for smaller items such as stove consumables or spares may be delivered on a smaller vehicle. If you have a narrow, uneven or gravelled driveway or there is any other physical obstruction that would prevent such a vehicle accessing your property the driver will be obliged to deliver the goods to the kerbside or to the nearest safe location to your property. Please be aware that failed deliveries may incur a re-delivery charge.

If you are unable to receive the delivery on the specified date, have any of the aforementioned restrictions at your property or any special requirements please contact us as soon as your order is placed, and we will try to make alternative arrangements for you.

Goods lost in transit

Please notify us immediately of any items missing from your delivery. See ‘Accepting the delivery’ above for details of how to correctly receive an order.
